How To Figure Finished Project Size

Due to the sheer volume of work required to list stitch count, finished project dimensions, AND color count for each and every pattern, we will no longer be adding that information.  From now on, we will be listing ONLY stitch count.

To figure finished project dimensions, simply divide the number of stitches by the thread count you will be usingFor example, a pattern with a stitch count of 220 X 264 will have a finished size of 10" wide by 12" high on 22-count fabric.  Keep  in mind that our patterns are configured for 22-count fabric.  Using fabric with a lower thread count (i.e., 14- or 18-count) will reduce the clarity of small detail, and greatly increase the finished size of your project.

For color count, keep in mind that with the new program, we are able to get better results with less colors, so our pattern colors will range from 20 (ONLY for black & white and sketch patterns) to around 100.  At this point, the patterns are averaging approximately 80 colors.  BUT, the maximum number of colors used will be
135.
